Colchester Villa are an expanding club and we are always looking for volunteers who are willing to put in the effort to help the kids enjoy football and compete against other local teams. If you would like to become a manager, coach, or wish to help out in another way on the Club Committee then please get in touch!
We may have current teams needing help or there would also be the possibility of you starting up a new team from scratch, as we can have multiple teams in each age group! The club would also be willing to put the right people on an FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification if needed. A Child Protection and CRB Check will be required also, which can be obtained through the FA Level 1 Course.
Recently, five keen parents have gained their FA Level 1 Coaching Badges. Paul Hinson and Paul Shaw, who are the coaches for the Under 7's and Richard Lambert, who is the coach of the clubs Under 8's teams, have all recently passed their assessments and are now FA Level 1 Qualified Football Coaches. Sam Mason and Alan Davies have also recently passed their FA Level 1 assessments, now helping in the development teams at the Under 6 and Under 7 age groups. All five are parents with kids playing for the club and the club would like to congratulate them on their achievement.
